- 2 Cups Ground almonds
- 1/2 - 3/4 Cup Confectioners' sugar or superfine sugar
- 1-2 Drops Almond extract
- 3 Tbsp. Rose or orange blossom water
- 12 Blanched almonds or pistachio nuts to garnish
Mix ground almonds and sugar in bowl. Add almond extract and rose or orange water and work well with hands.
Mixture will seem dry but almonds will release enough oil to bind it. Knead to a soft dough.
Roll into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar and decorate each with nut of choice.
