Torta di Datteri
- 1/2 lb. Dates pitted, finely chopped
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Almonds blanched, finely chopped
- 4 Eggs lightly beaten
- Oil and flour or matzo meal for cake pan
Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Line 9-inch cake pan with greaseproof paper or use a nonstick springform pan rubbed with oil and dusted with flour or matzo meal.
Pour in cake mixture. Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 45 minutes.
