Arook Tahin bel Samak
Clcutta Fish Cakes
- 1/2 Green chili pepper seeded
- 1 Cup Scallions
- 1 Cup Flat leafed parsley
- 1 tsp. Curry powder
- Pinch Cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 lb. Ground fish
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- Oil for frying
Finely chop chili pepper, scallions, parrsley in food processor.
Add curry powder, cayenne, flour, and blend.
Add fish, salt, and process very briefly.
Heat a little oil in pan and drop mixture in by the tablespoon. Flatten fritters a little in pan and fry both sides till lightly browned but still slightly soft inside.
Drain and serve hot with chutney.
